Make your own soap! It's not as difficult as it might sound, and it's a really nice project to do together as a family.

Application :

  1. Melt the soap in a suitable container in the microwave at low intensity in 1 minute intervals. The base can also be melted over a water bath.
  2. Add the other ingredients in moderate amounts. If you use essential oils, it is typically enough to use approx. 1-2 ml. per 100 g soap. You can use food coloring to color the soap.
  3. Pour the soap into a form - e.g. a baking tin - and let it cool completely in the fridge before taking it out of the tin.
