Why choose a menstrual cup?
With this menstrual cup you get both an environmentally friendly and comfortable menstruation. You save the environment a lot of disposable plastic and are protected against leakage. The menstrual cup is designed to make women's menstrual periods easier, healthier and cheaper. You can use for sports, swimming and at night.
The menstrual cup is available in 3 sizes:
Small - light bleeding,
Medium - normal bleeding
Large - women who have given birth or have heavy bleeding
How long can you have your menstrual cup sitting?
Up to 12 hours, this means that you can, among other things, sit overnight.
However, heavy bleeding may mean that you need to empty the cup more often so that you avoid bleeding through. Empty the cup 2-4 times a day depending on how much you bleed.
Use and hygiene
1. Sterilize the cup in a pot of boiling water for 5 min every month before use.
2. Always wash your hands before handling the cup to avoid unwanted bacteria.
The soft silicone allows you to fold the cup like a C and insert it. Once the menstrual cup is set up, the silicone unfolds and closes off so you do not leak or bleed through.
To remove the menstrual cup, pull the stem while using your abdominal muscles to push the cup down until you can reach the bottom. Gently press on the bottom to release the vacuum and pull it out.
5. Empty contents into the toilet, clean the cup in lukewarm water. If you do not have access to water, dry the cup with toilet paper and wash the cup whenever possible.
